Hooligan artists are annoying.

Reactionary art has a long and irritating tradition. I realize this text gives them unnecessary attention again.
Here is a short list of particularly annoying artists:
Santiago Sierra. If occasionally his politics are interesting, (11 People Paid to Learn a Phrase) virtual enslavement and permanent humiliation is not an interesting direction for artistic freedom. (160 Cm Line Tattooed On 4 People).
John Duncan. People have the same fascination with him as they do serial killers. The only question I have for IASPIS, the Swedish artist in residency program that kicked him out, is why was he invited in the first place? He could have made a lucrative career making B horror films.
YBA artists. With the exception of a few Tracy Emin films, all YBA art is a poor excuse for philosophy. Pushing boundaries? Yes, how deeply cloying you can get as you ruminate about death whilst riding in the back of a limo?
Banksy. His work is annoying, but worse are the news programs and publishers who lined up like sheep around him. He will be forgotten in 2 years.
Chris Burden. His early stunts led the way to other pseudo philosophical attention schemes. Jackass is equally stupid, but a least they are funny and do some skateboard tricks.
Orlan. Actually she is just sad. The link between mental illness and art continues.
Zhu Yu. Not all annoying artists are western. His “fetus eating” stunt shows that a sick sovereign creates a sick head.
Stelarc. I am not sure what is more annoying, his name or the ear on his arm. Maybe his body is obsolete, but mine is still ok.
